Where this started

A friend's house went under. I went to help clear it.

That was the Shah Alam floods. After the clean up I signed up at a COVID-19 care facility, then at a community distribution hub, and kept going back.

The work was exhausting and I have never felt more useful. I would rather come home tired from something that mattered than comfortable and idle.

Everything I do now comes from that. Hosting a room, running a programme, organising a village outreach. It is all the same instinct: get people together, and make it count.
